Cookie and Local Storage Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

What ClipZen keeps in your browser, why, and how to clear it. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

1. What they are

Cookies and local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) are small pieces of information kept by the browser. ClipZen mainly uses local storage, only for the service itself to work.

2. What we use

  • Session (essential): the tokens that keep you signed in. With "remember me" off, they stay only in the browser session and disappear when you close it.
  • Preferences (functional): language, currency, theme and appearance, so the site opens the way you chose.
  • Drafts and conveniences (functional): the clip creator's draft, editor settings, notices already seen and notification state, so you do not lose work or see the same notice again.
  • Security (essential): information used to limit abuse and protect sign-in.

We do not use advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies.

3. Third-party pages

When you pay, connect a social network or open source content, you are taken to the provider's page (such as Stripe, Meta, TikTok or YouTube). Those pages may use their own cookies, under each provider's policies.

4. How to clear it

You can delete ClipZen's data in your browser settings (site data). Signing out removes the session tokens. Without essential storage you cannot stay signed in.
