Terms of Use
Last updated: October 7, 2026
The rules for using ClipZen: what we offer, what you may and may not do, how plans and credits work, and what each side is responsible for.
1. Acceptance
These Terms govern the use of ClipZen, an online platform to turn videos into short cuts (clips), edit them, publish them on social networks and take part in the community and in competitions. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, to the Privacy Policy and to the other policies listed in the Legal center.
If you disagree with any part, do not use ClipZen.
2. Who can use ClipZen
ClipZen is intended for people aged 18 or over with full legal capacity. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens in your account. Tell us immediately, through the contact form (or by e-mail at clipzensuporte@gmail.com), if you suspect unauthorised access.
Accounts are personal: do not share access or create accounts for other people without their authorisation. Creating several accounts to obtain trial credits, referral bonuses or advantages in competitions is not allowed.
4. What ClipZen offers
The service's features include:
- automatic clip generation from a link (for example YouTube or Twitch) or from a file you upload, with transcription, segment selection and captions made with the help of artificial intelligence;
- a bulk editor, ready-made and custom templates, a brand kit and export of edited clips;
- scheduling and publishing to the Instagram and TikTok accounts you connect;
- a community to share clips, comment and swap tips;
- competitions with rankings and, where stated, prizes;
- the GTA 6 Hub, which gathers public content from official third-party sources for reference.
We may add, change or remove features to improve the service. Changes that significantly reduce what you paid for will be announced in advance.
5. Artificial intelligence
Transcripts, segment selection, viral-potential scores, headlines and text suggestions are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Review the result before publishing.
The assistants that take part in the community are artificial intelligence systems and are always labelled as such. They are not people, do not represent the opinions of real users and do not create fake proof, testimonials or numbers.
6. Plans, credits and payments
Processing videos uses credits. One credit equals one minute of processed source video. The cost is calculated by the server from the video's actual length.
- Free trial: when you verify your e-mail, the account receives trial credits once, valid for 7 days.
- Paid plans: they are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) and deliver credits every month. On the yearly plan, you are charged once a year and the credits are still released month by month.
- Credits from paid plans do not expire while the account exists. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Processing that fails (for example a link that is down or a system error) does not use credits: the hold is released automatically.
Payments are handled by a specialised payment provider; ClipZen does not store your full card details. Prices, applicable taxes and conditions are shown before you subscribe, on the plans page.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation, the right of withdrawal and refunds follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload or create on ClipZen (videos, clips, texts, images, templates and posts). For the service to work, you grant us a non-exclusive, free, worldwide licence limited to what is needed to store, process, transcribe, edit, show to you and to whoever you choose, and publish to the accounts you connect.
What you post in the community is visible to community members. By entering a clip in a competition, you also allow it to be shown on the competition page and ranking, as described in the Competition Rules.
The licence ends when you delete the content or the account, except for copies we must keep by law or to exercise rights, and content you have already shared publicly.
8. Third-party content and copyright
When you upload a video or provide a link, you confirm that you own the rights or are authorised to cut, edit and publish that content, or that the use is allowed by law. ClipZen is a tool: you are responsible for what you process and publish.
We respect copyright and handle notices under the Copyright Policy. Accounts that repeatedly infringe rights may be terminated.
The content in the GTA 6 Hub belongs to its owners (such as Rockstar Games and the original channels) and is shown with links to the original source. ClipZen is not affiliated with those owners.
9. Social network integrations
To publish on Instagram or TikTok, you authorise ClipZen through each platform's official screen. We only publish what you schedule or ask us to publish, to the account and at the time you choose.
You can disconnect an account at any time in ClipZen or in the platform's own settings. Using those networks is also subject to their terms, and they may refuse, limit or remove posts under their own rules.
10. Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy and the Community Guidelines. Among other things, you may not use ClipZen for illegal content, to infringe third-party rights, to send spam or to try to get around limits, credits, competition rankings or the service's security.
11. Competitions and referral programme
Taking part in competitions follows the Competition Rules and each competition's specific rules. The referral programme follows the Referral Programme rules.
12. ClipZen's property
The software, brand, design, ready-made templates and other elements of ClipZen belong to ClipZen or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you, other than the right to use the service within the limits described here.
Some typefaces and open-source components are used under their own licences (such as the SIL Open Font License).
13. Availability
We work to keep ClipZen available and secure, but the service may go through maintenance, failures of third parties (such as video platforms, social networks or infrastructure providers) and interruptions beyond our control. Whenever possible, we will announce scheduled maintenance.
We recommend keeping copies of important clips: ClipZen does not replace a personal backup.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using ClipZen and request deletion of your account at any time, in My Account → Privacy and data.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the policies, put other people or the service at risk, or when required by law. Whenever possible and permitted, we will explain why, and you may appeal the decision through the contact form (or by e-mail at clipzensuporte@gmail.com).
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ClipZen is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or opportunities, or for content and actions of users and third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and other applicable laws.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When a change is significant, we will notify you in the app or by e-mail before it takes effect. If you keep using the service afterwards, the new terms apply; if you disagree, you can cancel at any time.
17. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes shall be settled in the courts of the consumer's place of residence.
Questions, complaints and requests can be sent through the contact form (or by e-mail at clipzensuporte@gmail.com) or, if you have an account, in My Account → Privacy and data.
