Competition Rules
Last updated: October 7, 2026
The general rules for every ClipZen competition. Each competition may have specific rules on its own page, which prevail over these rules on the points they cover.
1. Who can take part
Anyone aged 18 or over with a ClipZen account in good standing can take part. Organisers may restrict participation in specific competitions, stating so on the competition page.
2. Entries
- Only clips made on ClipZen count, within the competition's theme, duration and other requirements.
- The number of entries per account, the total capacity and the deadline are shown on each competition page.
- An entry can be withdrawn while entries are open, but the slot used is not returned.
- Every entry is moderated before it joins the ranking.
3. Scoring and ranking
Scores are calculated by ClipZen's server, using the criteria and scoring version stated in the competition. Equal scores share the same position. You can ask for a review of the result through the contact form (or by e-mail at clipzensuporte@gmail.com) until the end of the review period.
4. Prizes
- Prizes, when there are any, are described on the competition page and are only confirmed in the final result.
- Payment is made through a payment provider. Winners must complete their payout registration with the provider, which may ask for details such as a tax ID and Pix key; ClipZen only keeps the registration reference.
- Taxes on prizes follow the applicable legislation.
- If a winner does not complete the payout registration within a reasonable time after being notified, the prize may be cancelled.
5. Disqualification
Entries may be disqualified if their content infringes third-party rights or ClipZen's policies, if they use artificial engagement, fake accounts or any form of manipulation, or if they do not meet the competition's rules. Prizes obtained irregularly may be cancelled or have to be returned.
6. Publicity
By entering, you allow ClipZen to show the clip, your display name and your position on the competition page and ranking, and to announce the winners, at no additional cost, for as long as the competition runs and in the results history.
7. Changes and cancellation
For a justified reason, such as a technical failure, fraud or a legal requirement, ClipZen may adjust deadlines, cancel or end a competition, informing participants on the competition page.
