How rights holders can ask for content to be removed from ClipZen and how we respond, under Brazil's Copyright Law (Law 9,610/1998) and Internet Civil Framework.
1. Our commitment
ClipZen is an editing tool. Whoever uploads or links a video confirms they hold the rights or the necessary authorisation (see the Terms of Use). Even so, we review notices from rights holders and act when there is an infringement.
2. How to send a notice
Send the notice through the contact form (or by e-mail at clipzensuporte@gmail.com), choosing the subject "Copyright", with:
- your name and an e-mail for our reply, and whether you are the rights holder or their representative;
- the protected work and proof of ownership or representation;
- the address (link) of the content on ClipZen and a description of where the infringement occurs;
- a statement that the use was not authorised and that the information is true.
3. What we do
When we receive a complete notice, we review the case and, if there are signs of infringement, remove or block access to the content and tell the person who posted it why.
Whoever had content removed may send a counter-notice through the same form, explaining why the use is authorised or allowed by law. We will review it and may restore the content.
4. Repeat infringement and bad faith
Accounts that repeatedly infringe rights may be suspended or terminated. False or bad-faith notices may create liability for whoever sends them.
